REPLACING A SINGLE TOOTHOne compromised, or missing tooth is easily treated in ONE visit with an “immediate” dental implant. A dental implant designed to replace a single tooth is made of three parts: The Titanium Post, which simulates the root of a pre-existing tooth by anchoring into jawbone; The Abutment, which fits over the portion of the implant that is just above the gum; and The Crown, which is fitted onto the abutment to complete the process.
THE DIAGNOSTIC PHASEAt the first visit, hi-resolution photos, digital x-rays, a 3D CAT scan and a thorough clinical evaluation will take place followed by expert explanation of the case diagnosis and treatment options. During this visit, a clear financial overview will be presented.
THE SURGICAL PHASEThe extraction, bone graft (if necessary) and placement of the dental implant takes place in ONE visit. Patients typically resume a full schedule of activities within 24 hours. Follow- up visits are 1, 4 and 12 weeks after surgery.
THE RESTORATIVE PHASEWhen the implant has fully integrated with your jawbone (3 weeks to 3 months later), the “final” implant crown is placed. Dentiq restorations are made with the highest quality materials using a state-of-the art proprietary process until they are virtually unbreakable. |
