While there are significant advantages to the All On 4, there are also inherent risks the patient needs to be aware of. A primary concern with this technique is the risk of failure. In the event of just one implant failure, the entire restoration may fail. Load distribution over 4 vs. 6 vs. 8 implants is substantial.
Another myth about common problem areas associated with the All On 4 is that it is commonplace that the All On 4 patient will endure jaw atrophy that occurs in the posterior region of the jaw that leads to atrophy and eventually fracture susceptibility. This atrophy poses an increased risk of jaw fracture. Since the all on four technique only places implants in the anterior of the jaw, the bone in the posterior is not stimulated to remain and retain its dentistry; consequently, posterior jaw resorption can occur.

COST OF FULL ARCH RECONSTRUCTIONS FROM $3,900 TO $44,000
Implant supported solutions for full arch restorations vary from “single-unit” implants and crowns for each tooth space, to “all-on” porcelain bridges that are permanently fixed and secured by 2 or more implants. Replacing an arch with "single-unit" implants and crowns for each tooth space varies in cost from $33,000 to $44,000 per arch. The "all-on" bridge options cost $18,000 to $26,000 per arch. In certain cases, additional procedures may be required such as guided tissue regenerations or sinus elevations. Our office accepts all PPO insurance plans and offers affordable financing options for credit qualified patients.
